Ceremony
The Four Elements Ceremony is a sacred ritual inspired by Andean cosmology, offering a symbolic and experiential journey through the elements of nature. Each element represents a stage of inner growth, guiding participants through a process of healing, transformation, and spiritual maturation.
Within a carefully created sacred space, participants are invited to move through four altars, each aligned with a direction and a specific aspect of the human experience:
Earth – South-Snake This altar invites us to connect with our physical body, our roots, and the wisdom of our ancestors. It is a space for grounding and for healing early wounds, restoring a sense of belonging, stability, and support.
Water – West- Puma Here, we enter the realm of emotions. This altar offers an opportunity to face fears, embrace shadow aspects, and gently release unresolved feelings. Through this process, we cleanse and open the heart to greater emotional flow and authenticity.
Air – North-Condor The element of Air brings us into clarity, wisdom, and vision. At this altar, we connect with our higher self and inner teacher, inviting insight, mental clarity, and a deeper understanding of our path.
Fire – East-Hummingbird Fire represents love, transformation, and rebirth. This altar awakens the energy of the heart, empowering us to live with intention, to align with our truth, and to become conscious creators of our own frequency and reality.
This ceremony is not only symbolic, but it is deeply experiential. Through prayer, intention, medicine songs, offerings, and guided reflection, participants are supported in a process of cleansing, integration, and renewal.
It is a journey that begins with personal healing and expands into alignment with a greater spiritual vision, one that reconnects us with ourselves, with nature, and with the sacred unity of all life.

Rest and Reconnect with Nature
June 26th - june 28th
Ojai, CA, USA
This is an inviation unplug from the fast pace and noise of everyday life and to gather with friends and community. To feel not only the power of ceremony and music, but be held by the land.
Nestled high in the Ojai Valley, an unusual east–west valley whose mountains are painted pink at sunset, to us this valley is more than a place: it’s a sanctuary.
Ojai is literally tied to the moon, as its name comes from the Chumash word meaning “moon” and long called the “Valley of the Moon.” Because it runs east to west, you can observe the moon rise at one end of the valley and set at the other, and the shape of the land makes the moon's journey somehow feel slower and more visible.
For generations, Ojai has been home to teachers, artists and spiritual seekers, most noteably J. Krishnamurti and Krotona, The Theosphical society.
This retreat will offer you the opportunity to be nestled on a secluded mountaintop property in the upper Ojai valley, surrounded by open fields shaded by towering oaks. There is room to roam during the day and a scenic ridge that overlooks the ocean and stretches all the way out to the Channel Islands.
And yes—this is a camping event, the elevated kind. Bring your RV, your coziest setup, your best bedding, and lanterns. It’s simple comfort, beautiful natural surroundings, and the kind of space that lets you actually exhale. (Participants can also choose to sleep in the maloca space).
All meals will be fully catered, so you can relax and not think about cooking or planning food. Expect really good, organic meals that are nourishing and genuinely delicious.
About the event
Here it is, same tone, just without dashes:
The medicine we’ll be working with is native to the Andes, Mexico, and parts of the Southwest. Known as San Pedro, and traditionally called Hauchuma, it has been used for over a thousand years. Some refer to it as Grandfather medicine. It carries mescaline, the same primary alkaloid found in peyote, though in a gentler concentration. Unlike peyote, it is legal to grow and work with.
A common question is how Grandfather Hauchuma differs from Grandmother medicines.
Hauchuma is typically a daytime experience, often outdoors, in connection with nature. It is heart opening, energizing, and usually does not involve purging. In contrast, Grandmother medicines are often held at night, inward, and more intense in their emotional and physical processing.
Hauchuma is sometimes called El Remedio, the remedy. It is considered a teacher plant, one that gently reveals connection to self, to nature, and to the greater field of life.
It has been described as a clearing of perception, a quieting of the mind, a sense of timelessness, and a deep attunement to the living intelligence within and around us.

Testimonials
Working with Robin and Alicia has been more beneficial to me than years of therapy; through recognizing old patterns that keep me stuck, connecting with, processing, and releasing deep emotions, and helping me see the pure light we all possess. While it is each individual who must walk the path to healing, their insights, support, and vast experience are invaluable along the way. I look forward to continuing this path with them.
Robin provides a safe, nurturing container for deep healing to occur. He offers so much love and warmth to each participant in the ceremonies, and I have found him to be someone that embodies maximum integrity in his work and his commitment to carrying the Mahua lineage forward. I recommend him most warmly.
— Shaun R.
I want to share that Robin is an absolute loving, caring, genuine human being who puts so much effort, care and dedication into meeting the needs of all the participants. He’s a 100% heart and a true pleasure to be in presence with.
Alicia is amazing in her skill and capacity in bringing the group field into a focused, intentional vibration, to bringing the group field to its edge, and to really pull out that essence of dedicated transparency and vulnerability. Together, they really create a space where we can drop into the depth of the work.
— Jens J.
Through this work, I was able to really get to some core truths and follow that path the whole way down instead of getting stuck at my inner blocks like I have so many times before.
— Meggie S.
The retreat helped me to see my truth and live my truth by showing me hidden things that needed attention, - and where I still need to do some homework."
— Darius V
